During the summer 2015, we conducted an assessment for potential intervention in the area of vocational skills development (VSD) in Macedonia, for the needs of SDC – Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
The objective of the engagement has been to comprehensive assess the formal and non-informal VSD system in Macedonia, with providing rationale for potential areas for support of the VSD, having in mind the potential for increasing employability especially of women and youth. Team of two national consultants conducted the assessment: Vasko Karangeleski and Aleksandar Stamboliev.
The Assessment has been the initial step in deciding if a program should be developed for Macedonia, resulting in a Concept note for Vocational Skills Development program for SDC in Macedonia.
