Concept for VSD
The Concept for a program in vocational skills development has been developed for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) for Macedonia.
The mandate was to develop a VSD concept, based on in-dept analysis. This includes desk review and interview with stakeholders, as well as previous Assessments in the area of informal education, vocational skills development, and National education policy for future market needs.
The concept for a program in the area of vocational skills development (VSD) in Macedonia has been developed by Mr. Markus Maurer from Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich and Mr. Vasko Karangeleski.
The concept report has been focused on context analysis, and recommendations for priority areas of interventions for SDC involvement, such as baseline data, detailed stakeholder assessment, proposed areas of interventions and prioritization, impact hypothesis, intervention strategies, listed direct and indirect beneficiaries, risk assessment, potential partner organizations and resource planning in line with cost-effectiveness for larger impact.
The concept has been the precondition for a completed and ongoing project in Macedonia:
